A day in the life of a DAMASCUSer.

Rise & shine!

Time for breakfast

Morning worship

Led by St Joseph's youth
band - The KEY.

Teaching Part 1

Some short teaching/
sharing with small
group discussions to
start off our workshops.

Over the past few years our themes have been:
Saul's conversion on the road to Damascus
Why did Jesus have to die?
Discipleship

Workshops

We have 3 workshops:
Art, Drama & Music.
This is all about expressing
in a really creative way
what we've been praying
for/discussing/learning.

Lunch time

Some yummy yummy food!

Then more Workshop time!

Time to chill

Chill time; team games;
walks around the beautiful
Wintershall estate.

Supper

Naomi, our lovely resident food master, who has dedicated her ministry to feeding teens, makes us all a superb evening meal.

Evening worship

A time to really sing God's praises, to invite the Holy Spirit & get really fired up for the rest of the evening. We have a great band led by Pat who is also one of our resident youth leaders.

Teaching Part 2

Holy, powerful, personal, eye-opening, challenging. Teaching is led by Andy P who has this amazing ability to bring scripture to life. We have some active prayer: opportunities for your own silent prayer & to be prayed for.

Talk back

Small group chat about what we've just experienced. A chance to ask questions & reflect openly.

Chill time

Time 4 biccies & hot chocolate & maybe a film or a late night volley ball tournament!

Lights out

Usually by 12 & hopefully in dry tents!
