Aseel Gilbert

Aseel is the youth coordinator for Catholic parishes in Guildford. She runs several youth projects under the umbrella name Guildford Youth Movement. Aseel has been involved in DAMASCUS since 2006 as a volunteer leader and is now runs DAMASCUS with the help of a dedicated team.

Aseel mentors, supports and trains all the youth leaders through out the year getting them ready for DAMASCUS camp and taster days. She also manages the youth band that lead worship @ camp.

Aseel has dedicated herself to full-time youth ministry, with the wonderful support of her husband, Andy and daughters, Tamlyn and Grace. She is passionate about showing young people that God loves them just the way they are and that they can be disciples of Lord today. Aseel is passionate about empowering young people into leadership.

The young adult team

Every year our DAMASCUS young adult team is getting bigger and bigger. All of our young adults are young people that have grown up through DAMASCUS and GYM and return to these ministries as leaders.
