DAMASCUS is a Catholic summer camp for young people aged 14-18. DAMASCUS is one of the youth initiatives from Guildford Youth Ministry (GYM) supported by the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton.

DAMASCUS encourages young Christians from across Guildford and beyond to come together to consider their spiritual journey.  Many come year after year; their dedication, along with the support of their parents and the conviction of the camp leaders helps facilitate four days every summer dedicated solely to the young people and their relationship with God in a relaxed and inspirational setting of Wintershall Estate, Bramley.

The event programme contains a mix of music worship, scripture brought to life, creative workshops, prayer, outdoor activities, camping and chill time all within and around the barns and fields of Wintershall. It’s an awesome combination! Check out media page for promo videos and more pictures.

The young people that come to DAMASCUS summer camp value the opportunity to search themselves, to question and to grow in relationship with God and each other. Many walk away renewed, inspired and ready to carry the name of Jesus throughout the year.
